Today we paid our respects to the millions of victims who were brutalized and slain by the Nazi regime during the German Holocaust by taking time to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp and “Remember!” The camp is located just outside of Munich is unquestionably the most horrific place I have visited to date. From the moment we stepped through the gate until moments after departing I felt what could only be described as a sometimes-uncontrollable sorrow. Often fighting back a lump in my throat and clearing away tears from my eyes. Just our presence in this horrific place would often seam surreal. Although I intend never again to visit this place I would encourage all to pay their respects to the victims by doing as they wish, to “Never Forget!”
